Dr. Chris Cottrill is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Cancer Centre in London. His specialist interests are the systemic and radiation therapy of breast cancer, the combined-modality therapy of upper and lower GI malignancies and the management of AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma.
Chris has been a member of the ESTRO Evidence-based Radiation Therapy Course faculty since 2000 and took over as Course Director on the retirement of Professor JW Leer in 2014.
The St Bartholomew’s Radiotherapy Department has four matched, dual-energy linacs with KV imaging, a recently installed TruBeam and a CyberKnife. It has one of the highest rates of IMRT delivery in the UK. The site is also host to the The London Gamma Knife Centre at Barts, an independent facility managed by HCA Healthcare UK.
